Assorted War Coral frags vary in coloration and color combination. Each frag is mounted on an artificial reef plug. War Coral is the common name given to this favites species, a name derived from the intense red coloration it typically displays. These corals are not very common in the trade, but frags are a great way to get the colony started. War Coral requires moderate water currents and moderate to high reef lighting for proper health. They will compete with other corals for space so be sure to leave a few inches between each coral to allow them room to grow. Be sure to keep the calcium level up so the skeletal structure of the coral will remain strong and healthy.
