Anubias lanceolata has dark green, spear-shaped leaves with darker green veins. The leaves are thick and waxy, as are most anubias. This is a slow growing, medium sized plant once established in the aquarium. It tolerates a wide range of temperatures and ph but prefers harder water. Anubias will grow in gravel or sand or may be rooted onto driftwood or rough stone. They prefer less intense lighting.
